This project is all about embracing collaboration with AI in the creative realm! Instead of resisting this innovation, I decided to explore the exciting possibilities it offers with the help of Chat GPT and Adobe Firefly.
One standout concept that emerged from my discussions with ChatGPT was "Morphing Mythical Creatures," a reflection of my passion for the fantastical. The result was "Illustrated tales of mythological creatures transforming into bold shapes or distorted objects, playing with type manipulation."
I brought this idea to life by crafting illustrations that harmoniously blend with a vibrant, ancient-inspired background, making it feel as though the creatures and the scenery are intricately united in a mesmerizing visual experience.
It was particularly tricky to have all the elements look unified. I first pick a color palette that's inspired by the background. Then, I let my imagination run wild.
To bring the same vibrant organic paint effect from the background into the illustrations, I chose to work with a watercolor brush, allowing the delightful imperfections to add character and charm. For the text, I decided against a traditional ancient typeface—instead, I embraced a bold modern font to create a striking contrast that beautifully highlights the tension between the old and the new. This interplay invites viewers to explore the rich narrative woven between modernity and tradition!
